Ukrainian school graduates residing in Lithuania will take an entrance test to universities in Ukraine
The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine have enabled Ukrainians in Lithuania to take an entrance test to higher education institutions in Ukraine.
Ukrainian gymnasium graduates residing in Lithuania will take a remote test in the Testing Centre set up in J. Naujalis Gymnasium, Kaunas.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has prepared a test that covers subjects of the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian history, and mathematics. The Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania is engaged in organizing the testing process.
A student will see one’s test result immediately after completing the tasks, and the testing results will be reported to a special data platform in Ukraine.
Testing dates:
- 22nd July - 4th August, the main session for applicants for bachelor’s degree studies;
- 17th August - 18th August, an additional session for applicants for bachelor’s degree studies;
- 14th September - 15th September, a special session for applicants for bachelor’s degree studies;
- 10th August - 17th August, the main session for applicants for master’s degree studies;
- 7th September - 10th September, an additional session for applicants for master’s degree studies;
- 30th September - 3rd October, a special session for applicants for master’s degree studies.

343 Ukrainian school graduates residing in Lithuania have already applied for the test. Although the primary registration for testing has been closed, an additional one will be available at the Ukrainian Testing Centre. Graduates, who have not registered yet but plan to take the test, should contact the Ukrainian Testing Centre. The contacts are provided on the Testing Centre’s website.
Moreover, graduates from Ukraine, who attended Lithuanian schools, can take exams organized for local students and get the Maturity Certificate of Lithuania. 75 Ukrainian students have chosen Lithuanian maturity exams, the most popular being mathematics and English.
