Academic community invites to “EUREKA goes Vilnius” event
The Research Council of Lithuania (RCL) invites scientists, company representatives and all those interested in opportunities of international research and experimental development (R&D) projects to an international event “EUREKA goes Vilnius” that will take place on 26 February in Vilnius.
At the event, representatives of the Eureka network will present the main funding instruments for R&D projects, including the Eureka Network R&D projects, Cluster projects, Innowwide, Eurostars and EIC Accelerator Fast-Track funding scheme designed for Eurostars projects. Representatives of Lithuanian companies and academic institutions who have already implemented the projects will share their experience, and at the Eureka Academy Session experts will introduce the application evaluation process, discuss the most common mistakes made and share practical tips.
The event will also present the upcoming calls for lightweighting technology, disaster recovery, circular value creation and Globalstars projects focused on cooperation with Taiwan.
At the Matchmaking Session, the participants will learn about the advantages of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and the sensitivities of the effective presentation of project ideas. The event will allow presenting own project ideas, familiarising with other participants’ initiatives and joining the emerging consortia. At the One-on-One Meeting (B2B) Session you will be able to establish new partnerships with Lithuanian and foreign organisations.
Eureka is an international R&D network uniting more than 46 countries in Europe and beyond it, including Singapore, South Korea, Israel, Brazil, South Africa, Chile and Argentina. Being a member of this network, the RCL finances activities of Lithuanian participants in Eureka programmes.
More on the Eureka network is available here. You can register for the event here, and the event programme is available here.
