Call for nominations for the Lithuanian Education Teacher/Lecturer Award
The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport is launching a procedure for the Lithuanian Education Teacher/Lecturer Award 2026.
Candidates for the Award may be nominated by institutions or organisations engaged in Lithuanian education abroad, by Lithuanian communities, other bodies and individuals. The teacher or lecturer may also nominate themselves.
The laureate will be selected on the basis of their active and creative involvement in Lithuanian language education, the achievements and progress of their pupils or students, and their contribution to the building of citizenship, national identity and other values in the Lithuanian community and in the education or study institution based in a foreign country.
The Lithuanian Education Teacher or Lecturer Award was established by a resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in 2016. The Award is granted through competition to persons conducting or having conducted Lithuanian education abroad, for their merits in Lithuanian education activities, achievements of their pupils and students.
The documents for the call for proposals should be sent by 30 October to the Ministry by email to [email protected].
