Call for position of Director of the State Scientific Research Institute Nature
Candidates are invited to apply for the position of Director of the State Scientific Research Institute Nature. Documents must be submitted no later than by 19 December 2024 (inclusive).
Participation in the competition will provide a unique opportunity to lead a research institute at a time of strategic change. As the Centre has been transformed into a public establishment, the Director selected will be expected to provide leadership and innovative solutions to ensure transparency, more efcient management of the research institute and to enable closer cooperation with the business and scientific communities.
The research and development conducted by the Centre is of particular importance in addressing environmental, agricultural and health problems and challenges, and in preserving and sustainably using natural resources.
The Centre employs 309 people, 161 of whom are researchers. The Centre has 22 scientific laboratories and other operational support units.
The director‘s salary is €7,100 before tax. Financial incentives are available depending on performance.
