GESDA invites to submit applications to Geneva Science Diplomacy Week

GESDA invites the International Geneva community to the fourth edition of the Geneva Science Diplomacy Week, to be held from 5-9 May 2025 in Geneva. The application deadline is Monday, December 23, 2024.

Initiated by GESDA and organized in partnership with key international agencies, diplomatic missions, academic institutions, global NGOs and technology leaders, the program will immerse participants into the multilateral hub of International Geneva to explore the future of leadership in a world accelerated by science and technology.

Applications are invited from leaders in government, academia, business, NGOs and international organizations working at the interface of science, technology and diplomacy -particularly on the GESDA Science Breakthrough Radar thematic areas.

For the first time in 2025, the Geneva Science Diplomacy Week will introduce the Anticipatory Leadership Training Champions track, inviting representatives from academic institutions, international organizations, public sector entities, corporates, and non-profits to co-create, disseminate and scale the Global Curriculum for Anticipatory Leadership (GCAL).

Priority will be given to applicants with a demonstrated institutional commitment to integrate and adapt GCAL content, tools and methods into training and talent development initiatives to meet the unique needs of their local contexts, sectors, and audiences and empower leaders to drive anticipatory science diplomacy in their regions and organizations.

GESDA will provide full and partial scholarships to ensure global and inclusive representation.
