Sports ministers of seven countries signed joint statement on solidarity with Ukrainian sporting community
On February 23rd, the Minister of Education, Science and Sport Jurgita Šiugždinienė met with Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Czechia and Slovakia‘s sports ministers and other officials in Warsaw, Poland. Sports politicians are pressuring international sports organizations to not allow Russian and Belarusian athletes back into international sports competitions, while Russia and Belarus continue their brutal war in Ukraine.
Sports ministers and other officials signed a joint statement on solidarity with the Ukrainian sporting community. In the statement, sports politicians are urging all international sports participants to support Ukrainian athletes.
